These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Kynix Group Limited ("Kynix," "we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of NovelO - Read Books & Novels ("NovelO" or the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully before using NovelO. By accessing or using NovelO, you agree to these Terms.
NovelO provides digital novels, books, reading tools, recommendations, and related features.
You may browse, read, and purchase VIP without creating an account. After signing in, you can synchronize your VIP status, Bookshelf, and reading progress across supported devices.
We may update, add, remove, or change content and features as NovelO develops.
You may create a NovelO account using an account name and password.
You are responsible for:
You may not sell, transfer, rent, or share your account with another person.
When you are signed in, NovelO may synchronize your VIP status, Bookshelf, and reading progress across supported devices.
You may use certain NovelO features without registering or signing in.
Bookshelf information and reading progress created during guest use are not synchronized with an account and will be removed if you delete the app. Eligible Apple purchases may be restored using the Restore Purchases function.
Some books, chapters, or features may require a VIP subscription or other purchase.
Before confirming a purchase, you will be shown the applicable price, billing period, and available benefits. Payment will be charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account before the next renewal date. Deleting NovelO or deleting your NovelO account does not cancel an active Apple subscription.
Refund requests for purchases processed by Apple are handled under Apple's refund policies.

NovelO provides access to content owned by Kynix or made available under licenses from authors, publishers, or other rights holders.
Books, chapters, covers, categories, recommendations, and VIP benefits may change over time. Content may be updated, replaced, restricted, or removed because of licensing, legal, editorial, technical, or business requirements.
A purchase or subscription gives you a limited right to access the applicable digital content through NovelO. It does not transfer ownership of the content to you.
While you comply with these Terms, Kynix gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to install and use NovelO for your own non-commercial reading.
Except where permitted by law or with our written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license, modify, translate, publicly display, or commercially use NovelO or its content.
You may not:
We may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable action to protect NovelO, our users, and rights holders.
You may delete your account through the account deletion feature available in NovelO while you are signed in.
Account deletion is permanent. You will lose access to the account and its synchronized VIP status, Bookshelf, and reading progress. Deleting the account does not cancel an active Apple subscription.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you:
Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to contact us. Immediate action may be taken when needed to prevent harm, fraud, security threats, or legal violations.
NovelO, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, features, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Kynix and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Using NovelO does not give you ownership of NovelO, its books, or other content. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Kynix and the relevant rights holders.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and handled when you use NovelO. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in that policy.
We work to keep NovelO available and functioning, but we do not guarantee that the Service or every item of content will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
NovelO may be affected by maintenance, technical failures, network conditions, app-store requirements, licensing changes, legal requirements, or events outside our reasonable control.
Where permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kynix is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of or inability to use NovelO.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kynix's total liability for claims relating to NovelO will not exceed the amount you paid through NovelO during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some countries or regions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so part of this section may not apply to you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Please review this page periodically for changes. The "Last Updated" date shows when these Terms were most recently revised.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
You and Kynix should first try to resolve any dispute by contacting each other in good faith. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be submitted to the courts of Hong Kong, unless the applicable law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in another court.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.
Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Subscription Services Agreement form the agreement between you and Kynix concerning NovelO.
